God uses romantic language to woo us into his supernatural and intimate union as His bride. Just as Adam talked with God in the Garden of Eden we are invited into in a secret garden paradise together. This is a place of surrender and beauty, laying down and leaving all burdens behind. This is a place of rest, of true rest where we respond to God’s love as he touches us with his words that our hearts long to hear.
